People always mistake them as humming bird, due to its tiny size and bee-like hovering skill. There is no humming bird in Sabah.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101229_10.jpg\" alt=\"Olive-Winged Bulbul\"\/><br \/>\n<strong>Olive-Winged Bulbul<\/strong><br \/>\nA common bulbul in the countryside, especially tree area with small fruits.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101229_11.jpg\" alt=\"Orange Bellied Flowerpecker\"\/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101229_12.jpg\" alt=\"Orange Bellied Flowerpecker\"\/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101229_13.jpg\" alt=\"Orange Bellied Flowerpecker\"\/><br \/>\n<strong>Orange Bellied Flowerpecker<\/strong><br \/>\nThis is quite a common bird but I love its bright colors, look like flying gem. It likes to hang around in gardens with dense shrub.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101229_14.jpg\" alt=\"Oriental Darter\"\/><br \/>\n<strong>Oriental Darter<\/strong><br \/>\nAlso known as Snake Bird. Spotted in river of Kota Belud and Kinabatangan. One of the most photogenic birds. After fishing, it likes to spread its wings on a tree top to keep them dry.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101229_15.jpg\" alt=\"Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher\"\/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101229_16.jpg\" alt=\"Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher\"\/><br \/>\n<strong>Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher<\/strong><br \/>\nSpotted in night safari in Kinabatangan. I was so near that I could touch it.
