I saw it at <a href=\"\/wordpress\/?p=603\">Kinabatangan River<\/a> (Sandakan) and Mt. Silam (Lahad Datu).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101223_2.jpg\" alt=\"Black-Capped White-Eye\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Black-Capped White-Eye<\/strong><br \/>\nSpotted around Liwagu Restaurant of Kinabalu Park. Very cute and cartoon-like small bird.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101223_3.jpg\" alt=\"Black-headed Bulbul\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Black-headed Bulbul<\/strong><br \/>\nSpotted in butterfly farm of Poring Hot Springs.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101223_4.jpg\" alt=\"Black-Headed Gull\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Black-Headed Gull<\/strong><br \/>\nSpotted on the way to Gaya Island.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101223_5.jpg\" alt=\"Black-Nest Swiftlet\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Black-Nest Swiftlet<\/strong><br \/>\nThese birds are supposed to be cave dwellers. Due to their precious bird nest, many people have started swiftlet farming by playing bird song to attract swiftlets to build nest in vacant shoplot, so they are getting common even in town area. Swiftlets never perch on wire and they have excellent aero-dynamic skill that they can even make love in the air, oh yeah..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101223_6.jpg\" alt=\"Blue-and-white Flycatcher\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Blue-and-white Flycatcher<\/strong><br \/>\nSpotted in Kinabalu Park (montane forest).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101223_12.jpg\" alt=\"Blue-eared Kingfisher\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Blue-eared Kingfisher<\/strong><br \/>\nSpotted in Kinabatangan, Sandakan.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101223_7.jpg\" alt=\"Blue-Naped Parrot\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101223_8.jpg\" alt=\"Blue-Naped Parrot\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Blue-Naped Parrot<\/strong><br \/>\nThe best place to see this bird is in Tanjung Aru beach of Kota Kinabalu. In fact, this bird is endangered species in Philippines, somehow they establish a small population in Tanjung Aru. They are so noisy that you won&#8217;t miss them. They build their nest in the tree holes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101223_9.jpg\" alt=\"Blue-Throated Bee Eater\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Blue-Throated Bee Eater<\/strong><br \/>\nVery beautiful and colorful bird. I spotted them in Tun Fuad Stephens Park and KK Wetland Centre. When they catch a bee, they would purposely rub the bee to produce a chemical that attracts more bees to them.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101223_10.jpg\" alt=\"Bornean Whistler\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Bornean Whistler<\/strong><br \/>\nA bird endemic to Borneo and live in montane forest. Very easy to spot in Kinabalu Park.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/2010\/20101223_11.jpg\" alt=\"Borneon Treepie\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Borneon Treepie<\/strong><br \/>\nSpotted in Silau-Silau trail of Kinabalu Park.
