There was a Miss Merdeka Pageant (final) held at Wawasan Plaza at 2 PM on August 31, 2005. Basically, there were eight beauties came out walk walk and introduced themselves in the first round. In the second round, they wore batik dress and answered the IQ quiz, then the winners would be decided. The questions were so simple. e.g. "Who is the Father of Malaysia?" But surprisingly some could get it wrong..
