Sipitang town has organized the second GATA (Gasing and Tamu Besar) Festival from July 29 to July 31, 2005. This event only happened once in every 2 years and it attracted more than 20,000 visitors from local and other neighbouring state / countries such as Brunei, Sarawak and Kalimantan. As a first time visitor, the things that excited me were the lansaran competition, longest Jelurut cake (in Malaysia) and gasing competition. I posted the photos here to share with you.
