Ambuyat

Kuala Penyu is well-known for its sago, and Ambuyat is the traditional staple food of indigenous people there. To prepare Ambuyat, mix sago starch powder with boiling water and stir until it turns gooey thoroughly. To eat, twirl around Ambuyat with chopsticks made of sago palm. Ambuyat tastes great when you dipped it in sour & spicy sauce and eat it with traditional side dishes such as Tuhau.
